8.0.1 Battery Life

So I know most of you are hating Apple right now, but after my update, my iPhone 5's battery life has been amazing. I'm one of the few that are happy with the update!

iOS7 - 6-7 Hours
iOS8 - 4 (yes 4) hours
iOS8.0.1 - 9 (YES 9!!) hours

I think of all the iPhones I have had, this is the longest the battery has lasted.

Updated my phone when everyone else did. Just got lucky mine still works.

Hmmm you might be right. 12 hours standby, 3 hours usage @ 70% on my 5s.

I tried downloading it on a 5th generation iPod touch… Apple stopped signing, so having the firmware ready to go is, well. . . a no go.

I had the opportunity to use my new 6+ in a full work day on Monday and I got around ~30% after my 8 hour day.
Today I updated it in the morning and since the phone function was killed, I hadn't really use it besides some light music and some wifi usage throughout the day and I got around 80% ish after the shift....
incredible 6+ battery...
