what? The Mac has been able to cut since before I started using them in late 80s.
If you're for some reason referring to cut and paste in the Finder, first off, that's weird, since iOS doesn't even have a Finder equivalent. Secondly, you can do that by copying then pasting with Option-V to "cut" a file instead of copying it.
It's more of a copy and move than a cut and paste, but it does the same thing as cut and paste so I don't know why people would have a problem with that.
By the way, it's cmd-option-v, not just option-v.
You copy the file normally cmd-c and then navigate to where you want to move the file and press cmd-option-v and your file is then removed from the original location and moved to the new location.
