The 7 also has a 12mp camera. Sure the new one might be a bit better but mehh, really whoever upgrades from the 7 to the 8 has just way too much money. The X is where it's at! Can't wait to have that enormous screen in the smaller form factor than my 7+!

Or they’re in the IUP and the cost is about this same per month.

I would agree with this. I own the 7 Plus and I don't find reason enough to migrate to the iPhone 8. However, I do find more reasons to upgrade to iPhone X. Anyone with an older model iPhone under the iPhone 7, would likely find enough reasons to upgrade to the iPhone 8.
 
If Oct 27 preorder slow like 8 ... apple will facing stock drop and alot things change in there system.., that concern :eek:

I'm probably going to order a Space Gray 256GB iPhone 8 Plus tonight for pickup in Annapolis on the 22nd.

Also Band 66 support (not available on the 7).

I'm probably going upgrade to the 8 plus from the 7 plus. Not getting the X or next years version if it has the same design. Might as well upgrade and hold onto it for two years.
 
I'm starting to think otherwise, the X looks like it is getting more lucrative after watching the talk shows and interviews with Craig F... Apple executive-level marketing is starting to work..
