He (Elon) is an erratic mess. I still have an acct. created in 2013, thats active and I just post random nonsense. He was taking a vote on Wed. "Should (I) Twitter un-suspend all accts. that never posted spam, or broke the law" Honestly..yes! If the one guy is reinstated after hate, and other posts, MANY others should be reinstated.

My original acct from 2008...which I never really used unil 2016, 2017 was "suspended" last July 4 2021 because I posted video of fireworks...BUT it had music in that video. Suddenly I get some stupid email from the Music Copyright police . some moron "lawyer" in UK slapping me with 3 "infringements because of the music in the tweet...acct. suspended. What a load of garbage. I did have an ok following with that, bit shocking to be honest due to some videos that did go viral. Random pop culture stuff with Seinfed or jeopardy. One that blew my mind after recording the former guy in the Oval office..rally speech, he moved away from the podium..and suddenly his pants...NO idea what was happening. It looked like wrinkled airbag 🤣 Anyway enough political stuff...that tweet, video I grabbed from my TV hit all the late night talk shows with my twitter handle on it. Kinda wild.

But just use that site to vent and post sports stuff...odd random observations, edited videos to kill time. If the site dies...oh well. But I sure will not pay some goofy $8 fee for some silly checkmark (if this it still happened???) |As for ads, I don't see these at all on desktop thanks to ad blockers.

Elon Musk has lost $100 billion in net worth this year alone

Relevance? His companies make money. The loss of net worth is due to his investments falling, but most investment have been trashed in the last year due to the general economic environment. Most people's portfolios are down about 1/3 even if well diversified. His companies are making money, even if Tesla's stock is down. His other companies are private with no stock value. I'd point out Apple still makes money hand over fist, but its stock has lost a lot of worth, too. Last I saw, Apple stock is down about 1/5 from its height.

I would point out, Tesla had a 3-1 stock split just his past August, a sign of a healthy stock after splitting 5-1 two years ago. That doesn't directly change the overall stock value (splits are done to spur stock purchases due to a cheaper per unit price), but unhealthy companies don't do stock splits.

I'll agree some of TSLA's stock drop has been due to Elon, but not due to his ability to make money, but rather fears over his needing to sell stock in order to buy Twitter.
