Don't people usually buy the product they think is better?
Is THAT why people buy more Daewoos than Mercedes?
People buy what they can afford. All things being equal, I don't think many people would take a cheap Nokia candybar over an iPhone.

well, come on. Price has to factor into "bestness." Would a $100,000,000 phone that had UXVGA display, weighed an ounce, had a 3-D hologram interface and could read your mind be "the best?"
I wouldn't even try. This guy is like talking to a dog. No ability comprehend the simplest things, S4B, only barks at you.
Please learn to comprehend. Apple's growth rate outstrips everyone else in the market. I think that speaks volumes.
I feel like price is the one thing that shouldn't factor into 'best', if we're speaking from a qualitative standpoint. But that's just me. If we're discussing 'which device is the best deal', then that's a different story.

Perhaps if you could remove yourself from Steve Jobs genitals, you could get a clear picture.
Obviously you have no understanding of economics. Nor do you understand basic mathematical statistics. Please enroll yourself in a community college and then you might do better.
Honestly, of all the fanboys I have ever seen, this guy is right up on top of Apple's orifices.
Until they surpass in market volume, it means absolutely nothing.

You really don't understand this? Really?
MOAR SOLD ≠ BETTER

Thanks for proving my point.
Self-ownage much?
Thanks for proving my point.
Self-ownage much?
It means that if things continue at this pace they will surpass RIM in a couple of years. Which means that they're doing just fine.
Thanks for proving my point.

apple will not keep growing at this pace. unless they can keep fooling the public. oh wait..

Then don't multitask w/a ton of apps open. Problem solved. Same principle as multitasking on a computer. Humanity survived when multitasking was new to desktop computers and I think humanity will survive multitasking on mobile devices.iPhones are set up with apps that only run one at a time to keep things clean and functioning. Multitasking on a cell phone with tons of apps open is not a good idea, as someone has already stated on this thread.
Multitasking only consumes more battery life if you are, well, multitasking. You can run a single app to get the most speed and the most battery life out of the phone or you can choose to run multiple apps and sacrifice some amount of speed and battery life (how much obviously depends on what apps you are running concurrently).I don't get the fascination with multitasking. I'd rather have a cell phone do one task really fast, really well, and with really low battery consumption.

Problem not solved, you don't have to rely on your computer for important phone calls, texts. I guess in the future, I can see Apple figuring out a way to not compromise reliability, still allow for virtually unlimited amount of apps, and include multitasking, but I really don't care at all. There will always be other functions that people will complain about not having, then the next generation will have it, though I don't see Apple changing this one for a long time.
Not Lethal.
