802.11n Question

So holding off may have actually paid off, After I installed Leopard it all of a sudden seemed to appear, Of course I did no notice till i paid and had already downloaded it, but never installed it. Perhaps someone else who has held off from buying it now all of a sudden has it.

Yes of course it does. All core 2 duos have it built in, the earlier core 2 duos had to buy an enabler.

Seriously, a 4 second google search will show you a pirate link to download it through bittorrent, kazaa or whatever else you use if you're that frickin' desperate to save $2.

Just load Leopard and you will 802.11n enabled or find the Apple 802.11n enabler on the net. It's that simple.

okay, so Leopard users like myself don't need this "n" updater because like you said, it's already enabled with Leopard?

I ask because I damn sure wouldn't have any problems shelling out a mere $2 for something that would gain me better wireless router speeds, but if I don't need to spend the money then I surely won't.

I can put that $2 towards my next MBP update purchase. 😀
