I just noticed that the Developer Store is saying 3-5 weeks, while the EDU store and Apple Store say 2-3 weeks.

I canceled my order, and reordered with the stock card. I am going to order the 8800GT separate. The difference for me will work out to be about $150, since the 8800GT is $314 in the EDU store (ADC CTO is $160). Then I will just pawn the 2600 off for $100 or so.

Still 3-5 weeks for the developer store... I guess we get shafted since we get it for 20% off....

Keep up posted. I think once it's available, it'll be fully available to all. From my buddy at nVidia, it's not an inventory problem, as it is a SW problem. I suspect its waiting on 10.5.2 to finalize before they ship it.

Huh, the standalone indicates a 5 - 7 week wait. Must be so they can accommodate the BTOs first.

That's reassuring for those of us waiting for the CTO. When the Mac Pro's were first announced the upgrade kit was listed on the UK store as available in 8 days - which seemed ridiculous given that the Mac pro's were being held up for 3-5 weeks...
