Did anybody notice this?
Yeah. They made a new phone to sell for cheap. Lol.
And all those $97 WalMart buyers can be pissed.
made me chuckle
Wonder if there will be a rush of 3GSs on sale on eBay soon.
Yup there will; however, prices for the 3GS phones that are unlockable are going to skyrocket...
how could we not notice it. steve jobs said the lineup shifted down.
Is this sarcasm? I honestly can't tell.
Why? An 8GB 3GS is now $99. They got the same phone, with twice the memory for the same price.
I could understand if the 32GB 3GS was now $99.
Ah! You're right. I was thinking the $97 phone was the 3G. I'm wrong!
Walmart is selling the 3GS for $97. That's $2 cheaper than Apple, and twice the memory.
I noticed, and I don't like it. I'm getting ready to bring 4 lines over from T-Mobile, and while I'm planning on getting the iPhone 4, I told my mom and dad they could get the 16GB 3GS for $99 (if they had dropped prices like before).
Based on $99 for the 8GB 3GS, the $16GB 3GS would be valued at $199... exactly the same as the 4 of the same size. Hopefully they correct that... or maybe we'll head to Walmart.
should I sell my iPhone 3GS 16GB with 3.1.2 and unlocked on eBay and ask for, let's say, $700?
Depends. What's the quality of the crack you're going to include with said purchase?
my iphone 3GS 32gb, still has a pretty great resale value.
If upgrading to the iphone 4 wasn't so expensive, I'd sell it now and upgrade.
I hope my 3GS 32gb doesn't lose too much value next year when the iphone 5 comes out. I'll probably be better off selling, weeks before the announcement.
No, all it depends on is if the OP's gonna give the crack to the buyer before he tells him the price of the iPhone
