8GB isn't enough?

16gb should be a standard for all laptops over $1200. 8GB barely handles safari and current OS. Really hoping for a 32GB ram MBP soon. DDR4 will usher that in for sure.

Gentlemen, close your BitTorrent clients.

Get NASsesses instead, and free gigabytes of RAM while doing it.

Don't think that is an issue. uTorrent Mac is only using 93MB.

Used: 838MB
Cache: 285MB

Don't think that is an issue. uTorrent Mac is only using 93MB.

Close uTorrent and watch what happens to "kernel_task".


It caches files to RAM until you run out, and it doesn't smartly manage it to release some if other applications need it, either.
