Case design is nice, Kinda like the Apple Cube but a lot harder to open.

Did not notice the asking price, since when is all that equivalent to 2 grand? You could buy a MacBook Pro with that $$$.

Finally, a higher mark up for RAM and disk space than the Apple Store! :D

    Whats funny?

That is the fastest mac mini possible, if i remember correctly the latest mac mini's are able to address 8GB of RAM. Its just apple doesnt support it. :)

As someone else has pointed out, could get a pretty nice macbook pro for that amount of dosh though!! lol :)

I messaged the seller asking for a screenshot....I bet he says he doesn't have one, which is obvious to me.

and it says "new, sealed in box". Apple does not offer a mini with 8GB, so it can't be new and sealed in box. Minis don't come with routers either, or speakers (they have an internal speaker). If you want to deal with a scammer, that's your option.

    It's already out of date...he needs to add a 1TB 2.5" drive.

Can the Mac mini handle a 12.5 mm tall drive?

Yes, but you lose the space between the drive and the enclosure and that may impact airflow over the drive.

It's also bogus. The page says it had an nVidia chipset, but the photo is of a GMA950 Mini.

I've seen those stock images more than once on eBay for mini sales.

Maybe, but since there are other mistruths in the ad, it doesn't matter. :)

The whole "Mod" part seems strange. As a mod wouldn't you replace the outer panels with the lexan/lucite material rather then putting it all in a box with no airflow? Looks like a bunch of cut and paste errors as it lists 4GB and 8GB in the main area.
