Considering no one had replied, I think this may have been an isolated event.

Also I have experimented and it may be a bug with the music app itself.

If I play iTunes Radio and skip songs it won't disconnect. If I play songs on my phone, it disconnects when I press the skip button.

When this happens, the song starts to play but then stutters and then stops playing and the headphones disconnect.
Happening to me

What do you guys think about the audio quality of your Studio Wireless 2? I just got mine and thinking of returning them. I can't stand this constant noise/hissing and I also sometimes hear some kind of weird wobbling sound coming from the noise cancelling.

FWIW, I have had the same exact issue with my Beats Studio Wireless since IOS 9 hit. It got much worse with IOS 9.2. Every time I would manually skip a song or change from one audio source (music) to something like Netflix, it would drop.

I had not checked for a heaphone update in a while but thanks to this forum, I checked and updated. I just applied the update to my headphones and so far it appears to have fixed it.

Did you find a fix to this "SLEEP" mode? I have been fighting the same thing. I take a break from studying and come back to find they are in a sleep mode, then I have to fight this battle of turning them on/off/reconnecting. Is there a particular button press to wake them? Thanks.

There is one thing that kind of bugs me. After a while the headphones go into sleep mode if you are not using them to play music. The light on the headphones still pulse indicating the headphones are still on but I dont know how to wake it up and reconnect it. I end up turning off the headphones and back on. I called Beats and the person on the phone had no idea.

So today when I tried to use my new headphones with 9.2, every time I manually change songs, the Bluetooth connection to the headphones dies.

I then have to either reboot my phone or turn the headphones back off and on. If I let it change tracks on its own, it won't disconnect.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Idk if it's a general Bluetooth issue or something that only affects Beats.

I'm on a 5S with studio wireless headphones that I purchased yesterday.

I only updated to 9.2 late last night, so this morning is the first time I've been able to use the headphones with 9.2

They worked perfectly with 9.1

I HAVE the same problem I went to the Apple Store they gave me a new pair of beats and said there was nothing they could do and that it is hopefully resolved in 9.3 which really sucks. Especially since it does not affect any other blue tooth device

Did you update the firmware of the Beats? That fixed it.

I have the same problem. Very annoying. Maybe apple should be notified of this if they havent already.
