I used my Apple.com order number and plugged it in to the UPS website. I have a scheduled delivery of 9/23/15? See screenshot. Anyone else?
I ordered my iPhone 6S Plus - 64GB - White/Silver(AT&T) at 3:00AM through the Apple Store app. Screen Shot 2015-09-21 at 9.01.51 AM.png

That is very weird to see the origin as Lexington, KY. That cannot be a location to drop ship phones. Louisville is right down the road, plus that's where they hit from Anchorage. Why ship it back to Louisville?? #confused.

Pretty sure my iPhone last year went through Louisville as well.

It is weird because I put in the Apple order number and it says it couldn't find a tracking number that matches, but I am logged in to my MyUPS and a tracking number is listed under "Recently Tracked" and it has to be the iPhone because I have nothing else schedule for delivery.

How did you use your Apple order number to get tracking info with UPS? They are different numbers.

Have you ordered any accessories. These phones are coming from China and should not originate in KY.

I don't know about that. One of mine originated in Harrisburg, PA. Ordered from Apple. Another Apple order I don't have a tracking number for. And two Verizon orders originated in Westchester, PA

I can track by reference number and it shows up in UPS MyChoice. Phone is sitting in Hong Kong right now to be delivered on the 25th. Last year my launch day 6 Plus originated from Pennsylvania. As long as it gets here on time its all good.

No accessories but it would be a pleasant surprise to see something arrive on Wednesday.

If you get your new 6S on Wednesday, you will make the news. It has happened, I remember it happening years ago when UPS or FedEx, in error, delivered early. They stop that now buy locking them up at the local hubs till they go on the truck the day before delivery

Definitely is something other than the iPhone. Not only is the origin scan incorrect, the weight is not right. Are you sure you do not have an amazon package coming your way?

Then why are my two new iPhones just leaving China? Do not think that UPS is not telling the truth on their tracking page.

Last year I ordered a 6 and a 6+. 6+ origin China, tracked for a week. 6 tracking showed up 2 hours before it was put on the truck in Denton, TX, origin Louisville.
