Last year I ordered a 6 and a 6+. 6+ origin China, tracked for a week. 6 tracking showed up 2 hours before it was put on the truck in Denton, TX, origin Louisville.

Tracking outside the USA is very poor, but I am convinced my two phones are still in China preparing to leave. Everyone can believe what they wish

Don't we think that at least some phones were already sent from China and are sitting in US warehouses? Last year, a bunch of phones originated in the US until that supply ran out, and then they all started coming directly from China.

Have you ordered any accessories. These phones are coming from China and should not originate in KY.

I've seen different. My two are coming from China but I have seen other posts saying devices are originating in PA and other locations around the US. Guess it depends on when you ordered.

I just got tracking info from Verizon that my phone shipped along with a tracking # but it doesn't show on UPS.com yet.

There are a lot of phones that were bulk shipped from China to the US to various places around the US, and yes, some people are having tracking on their phones originating inside the US. Not all of the phones are having their shipping originating in China.

My 6s Plus is coming from China via UPS and also shows a weight of .7 lbs. I did order a case but it already arrived.

Oops, it actually says .7 kg. That makes more sense.

As a data point: My UPS Choice app is now showing my 6s+ shipment due Friday (YAYYY!) and it has so far had its "arrival scan" at ZhengZhou, China

They will all be delivered on the 25th so it matters very little. Unless you are so unlucky that the pope blocks your delivery. UPS is already posting that certain zip codes will be delayed a day.

would it makes sense that the ones (like mine) that have been stuck in ZhengZhou still have to pass through customs? my 6s+ has been there since late Friday night

No, they're not stuck in customs. There's just no reason to put them on a plane yet since they won't be delivered until Friday.

Definitely is something other than the iPhone. Not only is the origin scan incorrect, the weight is not right. Are you sure you do not have an amazon package coming your way?
My wife's 6s+ coming from China is listed as .70kg also. Go figure, but there's certainly nothing else coming to us from Chek Lap Kok or whatever that place was called.

EDIT: Yeah, it's too early in the morning for me to be participating on the forum. .70kg is about 1.5 lbs...so different thing.
