What's the point in getting all jacked up about something that only a few people at Apple know is going to happen? Pretty sure whatever it is, is evolving day to day. Don't understand why people get so starry eyed over a phone. It's a phone folks! When it gets here, then the rants and raves can happen and those who wish can rush down to stand in line to be first to drop a ton of money and them complain about what it does not do. Not a big deal.

I assume no 7s or 7s plus? Everyone keeps the 8 number going around and I have yet to hear anyone from apple say they are going straight from 7 to 8 with no S In between. Am I missing something? Just curious no need to flame me over it.

After my great experiences with my 6s Plus and 7 Plus, I'm looking forward to the new iPhone.

Either way I can only hope the next iPhone flagship doesn't resemble the Samsung s3 like the least three flagships from apple. It truly wasn't groundbreaking for anyone who owned a s3 years ago.

I agree. Also, the iPhone lineup is interesting right now. It's pretty good IMO, with decent looking 7/7+ models and a powerful SE for those who want a small handset. It is true that the deleted headphone jack is a big controversy/pain for some people, but for others an opportunity to explore the wireless headset market.

Enjoy what is here today. September 2017 will arrive eventually.

After the two *fails* that are the 6S and 7, no way.

For me the fails were the 6+ and 7+, I actually quite like the 6S+. Yet another iPhone using the same styling and bezel sizes would be a complete & utter fail for me. The Samsung S8 will blow the iPhone out of the water if that's the case.

21 months until the iPhone 9.

Personally, waiting for the iPhone 100. Preferably the 100S. I hear that will be the one that finally introduces a completely revamped and revised interface.

Are you planning to dump them soon? The news about iPhone 8 without a new design is a little worrisome.

Not really. The 7 arrived without exterior redesign and the world hasn't stopped turning yet, so I figured I'll hold onto them a little longer.

The s3 I remember looks like it's deeply inspired by the iPhone 3G.

I'm in my third year of an iPhone 6 and have decided to hold off until the next iPhone release, which I'm hoping will have some major changes. Maybe they'll call it iPhone 10 ... to commemorate the iPhone's 10 year anniversary?

I was reading an article yesterday, after the earlier post I made, that stated sources were saying there is going to be a 7S and 7+S along with a newer, more expensive model - 7++SS?? When cell phones start broaching the $1000 mark, I think the line is being crossed as to getting what you pay for when the "technology" is good for a 1 year product cycle? In this particular case the article stated an increase of $150 for an iPhone.

This reminds me when everyone was getting all jacked up on the magical "Iphone 5" that was suppose to release after the 4, and all we got was the 4s. I know its the iphones 10 year anniversary but im just gonna stick with it being a 7s until around july when we start seeing some juicy potato camera leaks :)
