hmm, just downloaded and file seems to be clean. Doesnt seem to be able to jailbreak my iphone 3gs on 3.1.3. Error keeps popping up. Maybe its not legit or i'm being stupid

Recommend everyone WAIT...many many are getting error code c0000005. Read all of the posts on the down load server site...scroll to the bottom and read the posts...not very rewarding.

Servers are being hammered by all those that "accidently" loaded 3.1.3 and the iPad users.

Works fine here, I just jailbreak both of my iPhone 3gs 3.1.3 and iPad 3.2.

The failings are occurring on the windows, it works fine on the Mac.

If you have problems with spirit on windows, I've heard if you run it in win98 compatibility mode it works fine

Wow, simplest JB I've done yet...worked great on Mac, took about 1 minute.

Damn, if only this had come out before Friday, I wouldn't have sprung for a 3G iPad and stuck with wifi. Now to install MyWi...

yup, windows 7 64-bit here and running it in Windows 98 compatibility mode worked perfect..had the error before but it worked in win98 mode

Isn't this par for the course...take all weekend to try and restore my already jailbroke 3.1.2 to clean up redundant crashing problems, accidently restore to 3.1.3, fight for hours trying to get it back down to 3.1.2 finally succeed, get everything loaded back on including all Cydia/RYP apps and have it nice and clean running and NOW they release spirit....GO FIGURE

Faster jailbreak than blackra1n, awesome! Next going to try the iPad. Made an extra backup of it just in case (as they warned it was in beta).

Dumb question: but, how do you actually do the jailbreak on an iPhone? Can you still access the App Store with a jailbreaked phone, or only Cydia?

I have an Iphone on 3.2 already JB (Tethered). Can I re-JB with Spirit without screwing things up and become un-thethered?

The answer to the first question is yes. The second question, I am not too sure about.
