Spirit Jailbreak Is Out!

SO what is the general consensus and the opinion of the experts,

I am on 3.1.2 jailbroken with my 3Gs, I am very happy, no problems whatsoever...but I do feel a bit "behind" or "left out" now, that all these people are on 3.1.3 and jailbroken with spirit. shall I do it too?

Or it's wise to hold back and just sit tight for the 4.0 Jailbreak from the Dev team or something?

It depends on your iPhone model and firmware. Stock 3.1.3 cannot be unlocked on a 3GS yet, but an iPhone 3g can be. Both can be jailbroken with Spirit.

It sounded like he thought Spirit was an unlock in addition to a jailbreak.

i have a 3g running 3.1.3 not 3gs....so the unlock will work using ultrasnow?
 
Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if I can use Spirit to Jailbreak my newly upgraded to firmware 3.1.3 iPhone until an unlock is available?

(it is a french phone and is asking me a valid SIM card to activate the phone)

I tried but I got the following error:

the ordinal 2821 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll
error code: c0000138

Is it because my phone is not activate ?
What other options could it be (I tried the diverse compatibility modes)
