Ill give you a decent piece of advice. AS apple said reduce your brightness it can double your battery life. I never saw any reason on why to use more than 40-50% brightness on my MBP, especially on the battery.

i am not concerned about getting more battery life. i am concerned that a new machine has dropped so fast on coconut battery it is now down to 91% iam concerned in another month it will be in the 80s.

if its at 91% at 3 weeks when will it hit 80%?

I've already said that the health indicator moves both down and UP. It's not a direct decline. Some days, my battery health is at 91%. A few days or weeks later, it can be back up to 98%. You can't accurately say that if it took "x" days to get to 90%, it will take another "x" days to reach 80%.

If you calibrate your battery properly every month or so, using Apple's instructions, your battery reading will be as accurate as possible, but they're still not exact. If you use your Mac on battery at least every few days, as described in the link I posted, you'll be fine. If your battery life drops below 80% before you reach the cycles Apple says you should reach, your battery is defective and Apple will replace it.

There's really nothing to worry about.

just calibrated battery and its at 93%.

original capacity 5770
