Agree with the posters above.

Funny how no 'leaked iPhone' picture is ever clear, there is always something that blurs things out. In this case, a really exaggerated flash.

Would be the perfect ploy considering what happened last year.

Agreed, here is the new quote from the MR front page:

"Simply put, as the iPhone 5 components are built for a smaller and lighter device, they can be easily fit into a casing which for all intents and purposes looks identical to an iPhone 4... and that's exactly what Apple has been doing. Our sources tell us that the company has been testing the new components in old iPhone cases, for obvious reasons"

Extended release cycle for ... almost the same thing?
Figured Apple would have done something else in addition to making it faster, but I suppose that picture only shows the front.

Hmm, now China Mobile is getting the iPhone?
Could this mean Apple is going all out on this and releasing it on Sprint or T-Mobile too?:)

Let me just take a picture of a highly reflective surface while using a flash.

That's just an iPhone 4 on the Chinese network. Not an iPhone 5, but if you want to see real mock ups from 9to5Mac:

http://9to5mac.com/2011/07/07/iphone-5-mockups-look-just-about-right/

and they believe this is "just about right", well if the iPhone 5 is supposed to be thinner and lighter, then that's the only thing missing from this mock up.

How i wish the next iPhone has tapered edges like the iPad 2, and the iPhone 3G/S models.

It is funny that any time a leaked iPhone pic shows up the only photographer around is completely inept. Absolutely no clue about flash, lighting, exposure etc. Always a pic in the lowest light with a flash or reflection directly off the glass.

I guess we are lucky that they don't have their thumb over the lens too.

The one time I remember this wasn't the case was the Gizmodo expose on the lost iPhone. Those were some pretty detailed pics and some crazy amount of news...

That's true. And of course that was the real thing! :D

I wonder how Gray Powell is doing these days. Maybe someone should take him out for a few drinks. :)

After he finishes mopping the floors, of course.

I really hope that squiggly thing in the top right corner is a watermark and not actually on the phone in any way. Looks like something from Naruto. :p

It's a fake.

You can easily change baseband numbers in cydia f you jailbreak.

Would you care to give us the app or repo that allows someone to do this? I am not trying to be insulting or disrespectful, I am genuinely curious. :D

That's about the biggest line of BS I've ever heard.
