I see what your saying, but this is the internet.

I don’t have to “imagine” how any particular person would feel to my message...because I expect to be able to express my words without pre-thinking how some over sensitive persons might take it.

Men and women should be able to have complete candor and say whatever they wish without holding back on the internet.

Your overall message is right and I agree, but I just don’t think it applies to an Apple Macrumors forum, on the internet.

That’s a poor comment for a reply because it still doesn’t make it right. Your trying to justify a wrong because tech is dominated by males and somehow that makes it ok? Did you really write that?
There a plenty of online forums with a heavy female presence.

Am I to complain and request that others be mindful of gender-based generalizations and tongue-in-cheeks comments and jokes aimed at men....just because of my presence?

I just think people are more annoyed Apple has had a lot of meh shows lately. I’d really like to see some big blockbusters, not talkshow hosts, not nature junk.

Like nature shows “oh great, stuff for grandmas”.

It’s not that big of a deal.

Okay. Well at least you heard me out and the discussion stayed civil. Lol these days that’s a lot!

Happy Holidays to you for any that you celebrate. Preferably without Mariah Carey, I suppose. 😬😆

Hey you too! Glad to have you around and that we had a talk. For me it provoked into some deep thought on what’s right. Was fun! Happy Holliday’s!

When it says "seasonal offerings" with respect to Charlie Brown Christmas, does that imply that these shows will be available for streaming only during the holiday season?

Not that there's necessarily a big demand for doing so otherwise, but even so, if that's the case, makes me even more glad I own the DVD...

Do you watch Charlie Brown holiday specials outside of their respective holiday seasons? I’m trying to remember if I have ever done that.

I think about 25 years ago, when I first got a VCR, I enjoyed the novelty of seeing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer out of season once. But I always feel kind of weird if I watch Christmas specials or listen to Christmas music out of season.

My parents loathe Christmas music so I had to hide out in my room to listen to it. There was no way my dad was going to tolerate it out of season.

But I could blast hair metal whenever and wherever in my house I wanted to my heart’s content. My dad and mom listened to rap for a few years in their 70’s. My folks are so unusual.
