...I really like Dark Mode! Was not high on my list of hoped for features. I really was not concerned one way or the other. However, since installing iOS 13, Dark Mode is my default setting. I really do like it! :D

Oh now you'll be telling us you want to rearrange apps on the homescreen any way you want and not the way the Evil Overlords at Apple mandate. You're on the slippery slope now!

I like it too. I thought I would, though. But I was never on the Dark Mode or else bandwagon.

I like it on the ipad a lot but not on the iPhone.
on iPhone the new button in white have some "relief" and it's not visible in dark mode. Also the new popup window design look better in white (relief again, distinction from the background etc...). So i revert my iphone on light mode.

LOL! Iknow, I slipping fast!

I thought Apple's implementation of the volume HUD looked kind of dumb with it starting out as such a thick pill shaped design on the side..... But I am so happy that it's not the old intrusive one that I love it anyway.

I've left it on since setting up b1... i used any app that had it available most of the time anyway, so it'll be nice when it's across the board.

I like it too. I also like that I can invoke it, and manipulate the "graphic" as well as the physical buttons. I know others disagree (some oddly forcefully), but I think this is the first step towards the elimination of most, if not all, physical buttons on iOS devices. Hate on me, if you like... :D

Agreed. I think it should just be the thin vertical indicator. There are several jailbreak volume indicators that do just that and work fine and can be manipulated with either the volume buttons or a finger.

I wish Safari in dark mode was black instead of dark gray (how it is in private browsing). And font colors when dark mode is black should be lighter. The share sheet in Safari (which is black) has a mix of lighter blue and dark blue font. The dark blue is more difficult to read.

I’m honestly not a fan of it. Although I just got on iOS 13 today. It was the first thing I turned on. And it just feels too inconsistent

Welcome aboard.

It’ll definitely be my default too. So much easier on the eyes.

I wish Safari white backgrounds defaulted to Black too though. Like this forum for example.

This is your chance to make your voice heard. File feedback with Apple on this. Potential accessibility issue, so they will likely take note.

Yeah, but it is ridiculously inconsistent from a UI level. Red and blue text on black in Apple stock apps, Safari pages aren’t in any sort of dark mode (compare to Firefox), inconsistent keyboard modes, Notification Center inconsistent... hope that simple stuff is fixed in the final release. And only stock wallpapers shift between modes? Not too excited yet, but a step in the right direction.

These sorts of interface elements often change throughout the Beta and final release.

When I installed DevBeta 1, I used it 24/7. After a couple of days I changed the setting for automatic dark mode when the sun sets. Since it's summer and nights are really short, I haven't seen a lot of dark mode anymore...

Anyone know of battery tests with light versus dark mode with iOS13? Because that's the only thing that could motivate me to keep dark mode on 24/7
