Yup I got hail this morning but now it's just windy with blue skies.

It looks a bit toasty where I used to live, this is in Celsius:

Sucks to be you. :p

I remember 3 summers ago in London, it was cold and rainy all summer. It was also one of the highest pollen counts since a summer in the 1980s, so it was pretty bad all around. I remember that it rained on my birthday, and wouldn't stop raining at the Swedish midsummer party I went to.

But hey, at least I went to a Swedish midsummer party. :D

Yeah this is so annoying, the entire winter people are complaining that it is too cold and then as soon as the temperature goes up, people start complaining about that..

PS: Dont take this as an insult, just my opinion
PSS: maybe you aren't a cold complainer, if so ....complain all you like about the heat :D :D

Yeah but in Florida our winters last like 2 weeks.

i used to have that. really miss that. I hate winter, everything shrinks ;) ..and you need to wear 5 layers of clothing to feel "comfortable".
well i guess that you are allowed to miss the cold a little bit. but seriously i would much rather have two weeks of winter than two weeks of summer.

I just love having seasons - I don't like having the same weather all the time. It makes visiting places more fun, though. Having a chance to go south for a few weeks in the winter is great.

Ok this might be true, but all this weather changing stuff is F£$%ing up my body. i have never been so sick so often.. My body just has no idea how to react to this weather and next thing i know i am sniffing and coughing in bed.
The season thang is ok, but put it next to consistent nice weather, i still choose consistency of randomness. :p

I enjoy the cold weather, the only thing I hate is the when the snow melts and you're in a metropolitan area like NYC. Then it gets kinda nasty with all the salt on the roads and all the gray slush.

But believe me, the summers in Florida are brutal. We may not have the hottest temperatures in the US but our humidity is ridiculous, especially when you're within 50 miles from the coastline.

Plus I like the atmosphere created by winter weather. I love wearing sweaters and jeans and drinking hot cocoa. :D

No confusion needed.

To proove everything shrinks:

1) Remove pants/boxers
2) Get Ice
3) Get Ice Water
4) Spray Some On The Place Of Yours...
5) EVERYTHING SHRINKS!

about 18 months ago, it snowed properly (i.e. settled) in london for the first time in like 8 years or something. because we're not particularly used to safety with snow, it was crazy! people getting injured (especially from slipping on pavements), cars swerving, stuff like that.

i remember one day it snowed real bad, and my school was up on a massive hill. traffic was at a standstill and we got trapped in school (there was a snowstorm at like 4.20, just as school finished..). it was britually cold, and we had to pay $15 for school dinners food that tasted like crap, but the memory is one i'll never forget. this year we didn't get as much snow though..in fact i dont think we got any.

i've been out in london all day today, and it is *amazingly* hot. i really feel bad for those of you who live in hot countries - dont you have to change 3 times a day?!

Not if you live in a hot country with a DRY climate.

Zimbabwe is an excellent example. It has Dry Winters and Wet Summers.

In Summer, it tends to rain in the evening, and at midday when it's hottest, which brings the temperature down to a reasonable level.

It never rains in Winter. However what we call winter in Zim is more like a warm spring day in the UK.

I don't complain about the cold, love the Winter weather. If the temperature were the 70's it would be awesome. A perfect 10 day 70's, sunny, and low humidity. The problem here is New England is that when it gets warm, muggy weather follows. It's miserable, no real way to be comfortable. Except look forward to Fall and Winter.

Ok fair enough you are allowed to bitch about the warm weather. :D :D
but hint for you to feel comfortable when it gets warm. Just wear as little clothing as possible. In summer i usually walk around in nothing more than a pair of shorts, and i guess if you need to look a bit more representable, just put on a thin shirt...

yeah i am noticing that the days like the past few days are like winter days in SD/SA. But now i appreciate them more, knowing that this is what i used to consider "cold".

Its when the weather becomes muggy that's the problem. Everything is damp including clothing. :(

I just use the word complain. ;)

gotta love that new england weather, bit to hot for me thou i need 40s-mid 60s
