I don't like polls. Why do people answer the poll question in the post? Just vote and move on.

I have no problem with polls but with the obscure options available many, including myself, had to answer into the thread since an proper option wasn't available in this poll.

I probably use it about 5 times per day. Personally, I love MMS and the ability to send photos/videos to friends/family during the day and not have to wait for them to get home from work or wherever they are to check email. Not everyone has an email capable phone. 🙂

I've sent like 2 of them since it came out, and received 3, all being from the same person. That's said, it's nice to have the option to send them like all other phones regardless of whether it's used all the time or not.

I just try sending one out right now and the damn thing wont even go thru. It gives me an error.
WTF? Its been working for months, I wonder what happened.
Everyone elses still working fine?

I just sent one out. It worked, receiver confirmed. It lagged a little but no error or red circle.

Never sent one. Like so many others I just send an email instead. The only people to whom I'd send an MMS have phones that can receive email anyway, so it works out a bucket load easier (and cheaper) to just use email.

I actually use it fairly regularly. I said once a week. Sometimes weeks can go by with nothing. Other times I can send multiple pictures in a day. I even received an audio file over the holidays.

So I'm not a huge user, but I'd be annoyed if it was gone.
That's me too.

I was on o2 UK when the OS 3.0 was introduced. When o2 set MMs on my account I sent one to my wife to test it. Thast's the only MMS I've ever sent on the iPhone.

Also since I recently moved to Orange UK to get the 3GS, all MMS (or photo messages as they call them) cost 30p each. Not worth the extra cash IMO.

Hardly is definitely the correct descriptor for my MMS habits. Actually, that also includes my texting habits.
While it's nice, I would've preferred something more useful if I had a choice.

Even with the "launch" of MMS on the iPhone, I hardly ever used it. I'll occassionally get an MMS from a friend, and rather than having to navigate to a web site, it's nice to see the photo right on your phone. But it's not like I use MMS all that often anyway.

Never upgraded to the new software. Ill take free tethering thanks.

Thanks, I'll take the new firmware and I still have my free tethering. I use MMS for the sole reason I have family and friends that cannot send/receive emails on their phones.

I've sent and received 296 SMS this in four days so far. I'll likely use all of my 1500 messages for this month. More than half of those were MMS.
