Hey folks. I have A MAc Pro (original) thats been a real pain to deal with and I am about at the end of my rope. I have had just about every part on this machine [(Mac Pro 2.66 Quad 2007 replaced at least once. Apples close to replacing the machine (what took so long? Dont ask!])

Today the machine wont start - ON light just flashes. FINALLY got it to start and I get this crash report. Does anyone have an idea? I think the ONLY parts not replaced are 1.) Fans 2.) Video card, 3) Switch

Thanks for any advice. I have no idea how to read a crash report. (Not starting is just one symptom. Another is it will just freeze other times it will make a high pitched sound and lockup.)

DISconnect all the usb devices and restart it. If it works the problem is that you have a lot of usb devices. you could then add 1 usb device at a time

"Processor context corrupt" seems to be a generic error message. A quick Google search yielded this link.

Given that this may be hard to pin down between CPU, motherboard, and memory without a lot of time and effort, I would lobby for a new computer.

Thanks guys - yeah - I've BEEN lobbying for a LONG time now. :/

Thanks for that USB tip. I tried -it seems to be working. But then the problem is rather unpredictable!

hmmm Odd Apple havent replaced it a looooong time ago - at least you get three times the performance if they give ya a new one (which is only fair as your current one sadly is, a lemon)

Please report back on what they gave you as a replacement. :)
