Only thing for me that could/should ALWAYS be improved is better (MOAR!) battery life.

Other than that the phone is pretty much perfect.

I like the 3.5" screen size and how I can get to everything with one handed use (unlike the monster 4.5" android ones that are strictly 2 handed phones)

Screen is bright and very readable in sunlight as long as you have the settings at 50% w/ autobrightness turned on.

Camera is perfect and cant see any way to improve it.

Speakerphone is VERY loud compared to my old 4.

I absolutely DO NOT want LTE on the next iPhone (unless there is a toggle to turn it off) since it is a 'gas guzzler' and turns decent Android phones into paperweights within a couple of hours.

Software wise I want:
- Improved battery management
- 2g/3g toggle
- Settings toggles in notification center like SBSettings
- Apple to open up Siri to 3rd party apps ("Siri open my NBA game time app and put on the Magic Clippers game")

I almost wish eventually Apple switched to charging/syncing with magnetic connection. Almost like the charger on Apple laptops. I think the iPhone would be so cool without the bottom port, just magnetically connect it and charge.

I'd like to see the 3G/edge toggle.

Not trying to defend Apple or anything, but I can totally see my screen in bright sunlight.

there is. settings>general>network or something.

settings>general>network for your 3G toggle :)

1. Significantly improved telephone features, in terms of transceiving voice calls. Some of this is dependent upon one’s network and one’s proximity to cell towers, but some of it is dependent upon cell phone circuitry, speakers, microphones, et cetera. I don’t think enough attention is paid to the “phone” part of modern cell phones.

2. A 4” screen one can see and read in bright daylight. No more b.s., no more excuses. I have screens on the instruments on my boat I can see in bright sunlight without any trouble.

3. A durable enclosure for the cell phone’s innards so one doesn’t feel the necessity to go out and buy, as I did, a Griffin Survivor, to protect the phone if I happen to drop it. That means a shatterproof, crackproof screen, too.*

4. A removable, replaceable back that allows use of much larger batteries.*

5. An easy way, without “jailbreaking,” to get access to the phone’s file system, and a file system that makes sense, with, you know, folders you can access, create, eliminate directly.

1) I've never ad any problems with the iPhones telephony (although I had 2G, 3G, and 4S, so I didn't experience antennae gate)

2) I can see my screen in direct daylight.*

3) Shatterproof? Crackproof? Apple could make the front and back of the iPhone out of Diamond, but I don't think you'd be able to afford it.*

4) Will never happen. Compromises design.*

5) Coming from an android phone, I thought I would miss this feature... I don't. Would do you need it for? iTunes can sync everything on your phone with your computer via wifi. I you want to have specific files stored on your phone, there's Dropbox.*
