I cannot believe they are still using trash aluminum on a $1100/$1200 phone and continue to call it “Pro”. Pro used to be the best of the best, now it’s being overshadowed by the less expensive Air. Which is using PREMIUM materials! Tim Apple pinching pennies again. Sad.

On the plus side, my iPhone 16 Plus is now like an iPhone 16 Pro Plus ;)

So I need a $79 case to protect my $1200 phone from looking worse than the moldy mandarin oranges that I find in my produce basket when my kids forget about them? Hard pass. I’ll take the premium phone made with titanium. 💅💅💅
Ridiculous, you can get a solid case for $15-$20 bucks.

I can see this being the reason there's no black this year. At the same time, they still went ahead with dark blue. So who knows. I'm sure durability won't be much better or worse than the regular iPhone, which never moved away from aluminum.

That is what that wanker gets for not using a case and having the AppleCare+ attitude.
Every year we get clickbait idiots posting how bendable, breakable or whatever the new iPhones not even available yet are. Come back in a month after 10,000,000 iPhone Pros have actually been used for a while and then whine about how lame they are.

I said this months ago. Aluminum is super soft, and all aluminum iPhones have been dent/scratch prone in the past. This really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone at this point. 🤣

My iPhone 11 had a giant dent in it from a 2 foot fall onto the leg of a chair.

You know what's extremely dent-proof and light-weight? Titanium. But it's also not good for thermals, so.... dents it is.

When did the iPhone go to titanium? Weren’t all iPhones until the 15Pro aluninum?

iPhone X through 14 Pro were stainless steel. iPhone 4 was also stainless steel. While steel is heavy, some argue the polished steel frame were the most premium looking iPhones. iPhone Air evokes that with polished titanium. I don't think Apple uses steel for any of its products anymore.
