I don't. But I can see it would be nice to have the MB warm up the bed before I sleep. However, it'll need the older gen plastic MBs for this, as the Al-MB runs too cool :D

Actually heat wasn't a widespread (being the key word here) problem in the last gen Macbook, but keep thinking that. Mine right now stays at 48C at 1859 rpm having 3 sites up. Not too bad at all. My 2 y.o. Blackbook I sold before this one had similar results.

When I sleep I'm all over the bed so it wouldn't be a good idea to sleep with mine.

Sometimes I use my macbook pro in bed at night and then fall asleep, obviously not having a chance to put it on my side dresser. When I wake up and realise it's in my bed I count my lucky stars that I didn't push it off the bed.

Been there, done that

Seriously, wouldn't you rather sleep with a woman?

yes I would...but I've got to find one first =/

Before I returned my new alu Macbook it ran a little cooler than my previous black Macbook, but not by anything to brag about.

I would sleep with mine but last time I checked, Applecare doesn't cover drool-related damage! :)

I'm still too chicken to put my Macbook on my bed. At most it stays on the bedside night table when I sleep. Usually it's either on my desk or in my bag.

Yeah, I fall asleep with my MacBook on my bed quite often. I'm a student so I'm rarely without it, and if I'm using it late at night I'll drift off and wake up at half two in the afternoon with it sitting happily between my pillow and the wall exactly where I left off, still playing music.

I guess I'm not too worried about rolling onto it, I know I don't roll around a lot unless I'm feeling ill. The one time I did actually fall asleep on it I had to wipe drool off the palm rest and I had the keyboard pattern pressed into my cheek for pretty much the entire morning, which was funny.

As for the remark about the WhiteBook hot water bottle, I actually boot the computer into Spore for a few minutes so it warms up, and then I use it to warm the bottom of my bed which is usually resolutely freezing. My friends call it my iFootWarmer.

I laughed at the visual of the mac chiclet keys on somebody's face. That would have been funny to see.

It's sleeping on top of my clothes..I'm too afraid to let it sleep beside me..and my sleeping involves some kicking and rolling most of the time in my bed..I'm not sure my dear MB will handle it...

haha I sleep with my MacBook on my bed. I use it at night and then put it next to me when I sleep - I have a double bed and tend to sleep on only 1 side, so the other size has plenty of room. It even gets to go under the covers so I make sure I don't yank the covers and it goes falling.
Its nice to wake up and directly browse form bed too hehe!
