PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...

STOP WITH THE FREAKING NAG SCREENS PANDERING FOR RATINGS ALREADY!!!!

I bought your damn app now leave me alone. Or... if you really want a one star rating just keep coding those silly-assed popups. Happy to oblige.

True, if its a one time nag screen ok but if it keeps asking me every time I open the app then it gets a one star just for that annoyance.

You actually take the time to rate the app? I normally just delete it after. Unless I paid for it. Then... Well... I just keep it.

Only the good ones that I use alot like Angry birds, Navigon, Slingplayer etc...

DO NOT BUY ANGRY BIRDS RIO!! YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I swear.. I played it for like 6 hours straight until I beat it. I'm a huge procrastinator, and apps like this ruin my life! I don't get anything done.

And yeah I could see the exception for the top apps. As for those crappy free ones. Delete.

I agree if I get one of those rating popups on my iPhone or any iDevice for that matter. I am likely to delete the app, leave a one star rating and never buy from that developer ever again. It takes away the user experience of the iPhone working seamlessly with all of these annoying popups.

If developers wont stop this I think Apple should step in and ban these popups from apps.

LMAO:D
I just finished "Smugglers Den" yesterday.
I try to do 1-2 levels here and there but I agree sometimes it sucks you in and you're on it for hours. Maybe another level, nope one more and Im gonna put it down:D

"Oh that one was easy, that doesn't count... One more"

Yep, let me try it again and go for 3 stars.:D

Now I feel like playing angry birds lmao. And this stupid tapatalk app is stopping me from sleeping. I need to be up in 4 hours. I swear, my phone needs a lock feature where at a certain time at night it permanently locks itself until morning. This would solve a lot of problems.

I too hate them, and if they're too intrusive, the app gets a low score because of that.

Jailbreak buddy :) One of my favorite reasons to!

My iPhone has always been jailbroken.

There are several jailbreak programs that will accomplish what you want then. Were you saying tapatalk was bothering you and your phone needed to be "locked" because of sounds or push messages or something? I am not familiar with it.

Unfortunately, ratings are everything to a developer in an app store crowded with so many similar entries.

If you're not easily found, your sales are a fraction of what they could be.

I wonder how many people are actually making a steady, decent living from apps in a mobile store.

I meant I needed something to actually lock my phone between the hours of (example 1am-6am) so I would stop procrastinating on my phone and actually get some sleep. :p

Ha I get it now :) You need to be kept away from your iPhone :D

The real problem here is not the nag screens so much, it's the fact that even after you rate an app the nag STILL does not go away.

I think I'm gonna do like others and rate one star until Apple does something to fix this garbage.

This is what annoys me about MyPad (which I will ditch in a heartbeat when the official Facebook app is released). I've already rated it, and yet every so often I'll get a pop up asking me to rate it.

As for ratings in general, I tend to only rate apps I have a really strong opinion toward (either good or bad). I usually forget about the neutral apps I've downloaded.
