owning a mac for 6 months hardly qualifies me as a fanboy but thanks for a stereotypical response. and mbps will run windows 7 better than most pc's.

windows runs games better bc thats what platform the majority of them were designed for not because OS X is inferior buddy

I switched three years ago and except from trying out Windows 7 on bootcamp for a couple of games, I would never go back.

I myst say, I sometimes do reminisce about the maintenance I would do on my older PCs (especially the registry clean-up), but I'm so glad I haven't had to do any of it for the past three years. Mac just works.

The fanboys eat, sleep and breathe Apple. In their minds, there is no part of any other operating system that compares to OSX. OSX can not be improved in any way. Mac hardware is better than any other piece of hardware ever created. If you say they're wrong, they will either insult you, or spam their post full of links from years ago when Walt Mossberg said that a Mac ran Vista better than another brand name PC.

Instead of giving credit where credit is due, they give it where it's not due, and give other Mac users like myself a bad name.

I tend to just filter out the majority of those posts, it really saves your sanity.

You've proven my point, well done. Games run better on Windows because Windows has better APIs for gaming than OSX. But keep spewing nonsense, it really helps your cause

Also, 3 year old is ancient for a piece of computer hardware.

I used to think the same but my 4 year old MBP is still a very capable laptop. I can't really justify upgrading it right now because it does everything I need it to. It looks just as good and works just as well as it did on the day I bought it. I have a console for playing games on and a MP for serious rendering so the MBP is more than enough for my mobile needs.

3 years used to be ancient but it isn't anymore.
