History is repeating itself. This is where it begins…

Looks like Crapsung did not learn their lesson. They’re always having issues with the cell phones getting caught on fire 🔥

Imagine ur flight got delayed because of stupid Crapsung phone getting caught on fire. How annoying is that?
i've been meaning to say this a while ago but i never got to it. do you revolve your life around apple products? it seems to me that you spend more time reading macrumors than you spend time enjoying apple products. you are pretty much on the first page of every thread while saying good things about apple and bad things about other companies. it's getting pretty tiring. i'm hyped for the new upcoming m1x macbooks as anyone else is, but i don't make obvious fanboyism posts on everything that isn't apple.

this is bad journalism , while the brand of the phone is "Samsung Galaxy A21" we do not know the cause of the fire.

1-Owner might have played with the wirings
2-install cheap battery
3- exposed phone to high heat
4- used a bad bootlegged charger that sent an electric shock in the phone

The odds are way higher for a rare manufacturing defect or battery damage from impact than anything on this list.

Considering it is 16 month old phone, it is highly unlikely to be a design defect like the old issues with the Note.

That said, this is hardly bad journalism, nor even especially biased journalism. The bias shows up in the comments.

Wow…here we go again. Why would u just not buy an iPhone? It boggles the mind….I think the reason is that smartphones are so important to people’s lives that they would rather suffer with a galaxy then admit they were wrong about such an important purchase….btw I hate getting that puke green text back.
Not everyone can afford an iPhone and not everyone thinks phones are important in their lives.

While the OP quoted was a bit hyperbolic the OP said "I think the reason is that smartphones are so important to people’s lives..." OP did not imply a global truth by using "everyone".

Samsung has even cheaper handsets for less than $100. Plenty of cheap handsets from many Chinese OEMs as well. How often do you hear anything about them having this issue? Imo price is irrelevant, and only snobbish people thinking that people must buy expensive smartphones.
I can understand perfectly well why people would buy cheap phones. And not having the money in the first place is just one reason. I only raise the question how cheap a device can be before it's seriously flawed or even dangerous.
You sure do have a point that there are few problems with safety with all those $100 smartphones. Maybe regulation is an important factor there.
