The dishwasher might wash it out, but alternativly barbecuing your mac might help ;)

(this is meant as a joke before some idiot tries it out)

Here's a couple of ideas:

1) Download Final Cut Pro X. Edit 3 hour HD video and make sure to leave it rendering for a while.

2) Play some really graphics heavy game (and no Angry Birds doesn't count!).

3) Watch loads of YouTube videos or visit some Flash heavy websites

I hate spiders. I was sitting on the downstairs toilet once and this huge 8 legged beast crept up on me. I nearly screamed! I also had one in the shower a couple of weeks ago.

Spiders are cool. They are an essential part of the ecosystem since they eat various insects that are disease vectors or cause other problems. If it was possible to kill all spiders we would have some serious insect infestations.

Your typical house spider is harmless. Heck... to get a black widow to bite you have to torment the little thing and then present a fleshy part of your body and give it the opportunity to use its tiny fangs.

I once had a tarantula as a pet; her name was Amanda. She was as docile as can be and was never aggressive. And she looked pretty cool when she crawled up a wall!

So just transport spiders outside that you find inside your house and give thanks that nature knows how to keep things in balance if we don't screw up things...

thanks for all the input and comments LOL

obviously im not to alarmed or concerned about the spider effecting my mac. im not at my mac 24/7 so hopefull it crawled out eventually.

atleast it wasnt those house centipedes! those things give me the creeps when they zoom past the floor XD

You get centipedes in the house? Yikes!

You could open Terminal and type:

Code:
yes > dev/null

Open more instances of Terminal and repeat the step to get all 4 cores maxed out and the fan going.

People should really learn a bit more about UNIX and what's under the hood of Mac OS X ;)

Fixed that for you
