This is extremely incorrect. By far the vast majority have no problems but they rarely "squeak". ;)

You would be correct. If you aren't having problems you aren't gonna talk about I guess I was just curious to see how other people were feeling about there experience but some people *COUGH* (mrfinder) felt the need to get down to specifics and correct everybody.

There certainly has been an "insistance" by some that the iP4 being problematic is the norm...I remember this with the 3GS yellow screen issue last year with the 3G as well...and the year before that too...
Judging by the number of iP4's Apple sold the past 11 days (a record somewhere near 2,000,000 and climbing), this doesn't seem to be the reality...but let's not let facts stand in the way of a good rant...:D

The only way to really shut people like him up is to post the video they want to see with two bars not going down no matter how you hold the phone (however, maybe they’d still not believe it).

Yeah, you are right but why waste my time on someone who doesn't have the patience to deserve my respect in the first place. I know what I know. And that is all that matters. I was just posting a thread to get away from all the problematic ones but that is what this one turned into. Haha

I'm a little OCD, and am usually the first to notice the smallest defect, but so far I'm very happy with it. The display is amazing, noticeable speed bump both in processing and Internet, no prox. sensor issue, and no reception issues I can detect, and I've looked. In fact today I had lunch at a little place I often go to, I have never once been able to get data/Internet in there, today with the 4, in literally the same chair I always sit in, I was able to surf the web, not 100% speed, but decent, where with my 3GS in the same spot that never once happened.

My 4 also tends to get faster overall 3g speeds in my house according to the speedtest app.

If I'm being very picky, I feel like my battery isn't quite as good as some, but, I think many of the people posting usage of 8-10 hours on one charge might have an inflated number due to iPod use.

I know if I listen to a lot of music, I can add several hours to my usage times.

My typical usage on one charge is about 6:45 and 15 hours standby, but that's with NO iPod, and pretty hard use.

You know what I hate about these reports about the iPhone issues? It's the fact that every single phone ever released by any maker has had some with issues. Because the iPhone is so populated the issues become magnified by bloggers and forums, thus it eventually gets mainstream news coverage. Then that person with no real problems assume they must have issues as well when the slightest signal loss happens and the problem is perpetuated. For some reason Google fan boys are more forgiving when word gets out that their phones have had some issues. In their case they can blame motorola or HTC...yet because Apple makes both the phone and the OS they are some how held to another standard.

I myself have not had any of the issues that others have complained about either. It's been tremendous. I can simulate the antenna issue, but I haven't dropped a call. I can make it go 5 bars to 1 in no time, but you know what I have to intentionally do that. I could probably intentionally do that on any phone for that matter. So again... I love it, if you don't then take it back and stop complaining.

PS. My sister-in-law told me this morning that her brand new EVO phone had a battery issue and was too hot to hold and had to be replaced. This has been a widespread issue with those phones, but that's probably okay right? No nationwide panic?
