Is it hard to hold the Plus sideways with one hand and snap a pic with your thumb? I do that to take pics with my kids and so far on the 6 that I'm using I have no problems. Still waiting on my Plus to come in.

Forefinger on top, pinky underneath and thumb to hit the shutter button. I have small hands (height 5'1" if it makes a difference) and have snapped many pics with my kids that way.

Count me in. Before and just after the keynote, I had made up my mind that 5.5 screen is going to be way too big for me. But then with the specs comparison, I thought getting iPhone 6 would be kind of getting a phone which is slightly inferior. So couple of days before the pre-order, I got one of the cutouts and realized that I can handle it with one hand. And after that it was no-brainer.
I have had all the iPhones (except 6 ;)) but 6+ takes the cake.

I do like it, but the device feels rushed. A lot of the software doesn't fully take advantage of the landscape mode. The landscape keyboard looks useful in theory but in practice it's too hard to thumb to the center of the screen and maintain a grip on the keyboard. And of course the top and bottom bezels are just unnecessarily large.

I got the 6 then got my brother a 6+ a week later and I liked his so much I ordered a 6+ for myself. The screen is get and will be even better one app developers start rolling out optimized apps for the screen size.

I'm tired of all the moaning about the plus. I have one and absolutely love it. Although I'm ridiculously tall so it is a match made in heaven.

I would love to hear what other people like about the plus? Has it changed your day to day/how you use your phone?

Do you think apps will update for the screen size etc...

I love it. I got used to it within 2 days. Honestly, I'm so so glad I didn't get the normal 6. I tried it in the store, and I thought that the 6+ was huge, but I went for it (knowing how big phones work and how you get used to them, and knowing I had a 14-day return period) and I didn't need that return period at all. The 6 is really a minor upgrade, at least for me, and in my own opinion. It just feels (being slimmer) the same size as the 5S in my hand, the screen isn't nearly as beautiful as the 6+'s to me. Both are great devices , however, I know quite a few people with 6's who love their device and I have met 6+ users who love their device. I love mine, so count me as another.

Got both and after just couple of days realised it was the 6 plus I wanted to use. Returned the 6 as found it soon did not seem that much different to 5s. Really love the 6 plus and the gold looks great in white silicone case.

i love this phone. feel bad for all the people that demoed it briefly and didnt give it a chance. 5.5 inch is the new normal folks get used to it!

Thanks! That's exactly how I've always done it and was curious if the added weight/size of the Plus made it difficult to do so. I'll be putting on a grippy case so I'm sure it will help as it has on the 6.

While spending time with my kids, today and keeping up with work. I realized I love the 6 plus and its big screen.. I can do both.

Although it's bigger (and heavier I guess?) it's not unwieldy to take photos one handed.

Maybe this doesn't belong here, and I apologize if it doesn't.

I ordered a 6 plus, took delivery and my first impression was that it was too big. I ordered a 6 and planned to return the plus when the 6 arrived.

However, I've been using the plus just to see how it would work for me in day-to-day activities and surprisingly, I like it. I could care less about the camera, I still think the size rather unwieldy/inconvenient, but what really impressed me so far has been the battery life. it's absolutely fantastic and everything I've been looking for. I'm at 7 hours of usage with my normal usage pattern, with 22 hours of standby and am sitting at 47%. My 5s would have died twice by now.

My 6 has yet to arrive, and I will give it a fair shot, but I'm leaning very heavily towards sticking with this 6 plus, just because of the battery life.

The longer I own my Plus the more I enjoy it. Incredible phone and my favorite since the original iPhone! :)

What a great response!

Thanks everyone for sharing.

I obviously love mine and it makes me realise I actually don't talk on the phone all that much - so having a huge screen is massively important to me, because my phone is really everything else plus (haha) a phone. Being able to make calls is just a bonus.

I feel the same way as well which is why I was considering exchanging my 6 plus but really leaning toward keeping it now because of this. I use my phone for everything, but well, the phone calls.

A thread for people who LOVE their 6 plus

You know I started reading this thread before receiving the iPhone sort of to prepare myself accept it better when it arrives! 3 days ago I get notification to go pick up the package. Arrived home, opened it up, and here I am thinking to myself what a beautiful device this is, the best since the original iPhone, but it's just too big! How can i deal with such HUGE size for a day to day use? Heavier, bulkier, makes my hands tired, etc... 3 days have passed and I can proudly say: this is the best iPhone since the original iPhone! Period. It has a magical effect where it grows on you! Crazy but I wasn't expecting this to happen so quickly. I now fully appreciate the screen real estate and the battery life like no phone can ever offer today. When looking at ex 5S and hold it in hand, it seems to me it's a Lego dummy or some sort of Mini iPhone for midgets :) go figure how come we loved this screen size for the past 6 years! For the Plus, somehow my fingers have gotten used to it (and only 3 days in) I can reach to about 80-90% of the screen with EASE ( and I have a 9' hand span) for the rest of the 10% I use reachability.

Now that you've read the long version.... Short story is I love this damn iPhone 6 Plus!

PS: Plus 128GB Grey going screen naked with olive brown case from Apple and AC+.
