I went mini. For like 2 weeks. Then returned and went 4th gen. Amazing everything

For me an iPad is not a computer substitute.

Said so, I enjoy my iPad mini to take quick notes at college, play some games, media consumption when traveling, etc...

With the iPad it was either my MBP or the iPad. In most cases that would be good news, but not for me, since the iPad is so limited that I couldn't afford to leave my MBP behind.

With the mini I can take it everywhere, exploiting what an iPad makes best, while not compromising the flexibility of a full fledged computer (my MBP).

Nonetheless if the full-sized iPad gets the same weight and thickness of the mini, then it is a no brainer for me.

I don't see why ANYBODY would want to buy an iPad mini.

I just love these statements (and by "love" I mean "hate"<grin>), it's like the people who make them can never imagine the opposite, such as, "I don't see why ANYBODY would want to buy the full sized iPad over the mini." Both statements are just so silly. You have your reasons, great, ever imagine others might have *different* criteria than yours? News flash: criteria aren't absolute. Both are lovely devices, neither is the "winning device" where the owner is granted absolute superiority over everyone else for the duration of the device. Sheesh!
