Had a few interesting things I hadn't picked up on there - thanks for the link.

The zoom into an app to load it is both good and bad - easier than tapping on a tiny icon, but not always what you meant to do at first.

Perhaps more than 15 mins at a store might help. Bring on Friday.

Wow. An actual review of the features. That is good to see instead of the snarky reviews that came out that were devoid of any actual details on the software itself. Kudos for finding it and bring on Friday!

Excellent review with many useful factoids and tips, some of which I didn't know. There's even an unboxing animated GIF.

Being a Pebble owner, he already "gets" smartwatches, so there is no wasted space about their functionality and usage. Most reviews waste time whining about their wrists constantly buzzing and the fact that the iPhone already does a lot this stuff. This is a more a review of the watch itself.

No problem. I thought it was the best of all the ones I read. I'm soooo ready!!#⌚️##

Really informative review. So glad I will be able to wear the watch on my right hand with the crown facing toward my hand.

I like that he had real life experience with the watch
Unlike the verge who only tested the workout apps with cameras around not on his own throughout the week, or the fake bar scene in his review

Great review. Favorite paragraph: Battery life may have been the best surprise of all. Almost every single day I used the Apple Watch, I ended the day with at least 30% power left — even when I turned up the brightness to 100%.

Speaking of, I wonder why all the pictures in his review showed him wearing it on his right arm, but still in the orientation for left hand wearing.

I also wish he had elaborated on the taps he felt while navigating. Has any reviewer detailed what each direction feels like? He seems to not really be able to tell taps apart.

Well, as the article says:
The Article said:
I like to wear my watch on my right wrist, which puts the digital crown on the outside. Apple recommended I wear it so the crown pointed toward my hand. I consider this an affront to the watch gods and insisted I would keep the crown where it should be: pointed toward my elbow.

In practice, I might have done well to take Apple’s advice. I used the digital crown regularly and was often reaching over and around the face to use it. I got used to it, but I now see the point of putting the crown on the other side.

That's the state of journalism now. Every field now works on the political pundit model. Listen to sport radio or read about sports, tech, etc, and it sounds just like pundits from the left and right screaming at each other. Disgusting.

You can't even watch a cooking show without them turning it into a competition where the participants want to kill each other.

The Verge review was terrible. The fake bar scene, especially, was absolutely painful, and felt very amateurish. I was embarrassed for the reviewer after sitting through that.

Sometimes things don't turn out the way we expect, and it is better to just delete them and start over. This was one of those cases.

Why is that nonslanted reviews are so rare. Other journalists should be grounded like Lance. Nilay's was so skewed it was irritating. It's like he had an agenda, and if he tells that "force touch" joke again, I'm gonna have to slap somebody.
