Just picked up a Jabra BT3030 to try with 3.0. Sounds is actually quite good. Of course I was using a pair of Shure headphones with it but the stereo A2DP works...however, certain features still are not implemented as described. No control of ipod features from the Jabra. Answering calls and switching back and forth to the ipod features works.

All the reported bugs are there - skipping when doing anything on the device. But went running today and had phone in my pocket. No skips.

Looking forward to Apple fixing this its nice to know that we finally have A2DP

I recently enabled A2DP in my iPhone 2G 3.1.2 (apple.. thanks for being *******s to not enable the profile even though the HW & SW existed for it) using a JB app.

I am looking for find a decent iPhone / iPod Docking Speaker... which can play & charge via Dock connector and play via Bluetooth A2DP.

Very few docks with iPod / iphone + Bluetooth A2DP...

Doesn't this seem kind of redundant? I mean you have a dock connector charging and playing the music... why would you need to play via Bluetooth as well?

Good luck on the search and let us know if you find one.

I have an iPod (non touch) that does not have BT..
I have an iPhone that has BT A2DP..
I have friends & family that have Non Apple A2DP phones..
and / or other Line-In devices..

Its not redundant.. its called Extensibility... and not being locked to one way...

There are times I want to just keep the iPhone on the dock and let it charge & play via Dock and not mess with BT because I am working.

At times I might not want to keep it on the dock, but play with the iPhone at leisure and have the audio go via A2DP Bluetooth..

Thats why! The flexibility of On desk and In-Hand..
PS: No offense buddy but that should have been obvious.. :p

I understand the want for Bluetooth connectivity, but the sound quality is going to be better using the dock connection/Line-in... if you have a speaker system with a dock connector in it, you might as well use it to charge so that you don't run the batteries down more than you want... but I found this which not only recieves via Bluetooth but sends as well:

Cheers!

It is not at all obvious, whatever you may think. You've got quite the attitude for a newbie asking for help. Also, this post does not belong in this thread or this forum; you should have started a new thread in the iPhone Accessories forum. And, in general, bumping a year-old thread is not a good idea.
