Dang...the next 6 hours or so until I get off from work are going to be loooong! I wish this was something I could do directly on my iPad like jailbreakme!

Again can someone point out to me how to jb it?, last time it was on 4.3 and it was through Safari which patched it. Kinda confused with this version and how it works.

if it had my released 90mins ago when I was at work and had a mac in front of me I could have done it. now I am at home for the weekend I only have windows machines :-(

I'm jailbreaking my iPad 2 as we speak but the servers are getting HAMMERED!

It's actually a very simple process, plug in your iPad/iPhone (make sure there's no lock on it first) then click jailbreak.

Once it reboots, you need to click the Absinthe app icon which will connect with the servers, but mines stuck at this part because as I said, the servers are getting hammered!

I think they expected the servers to get hammered, that is why they have only released the OSX version to limit the load on them to start with.

The fix for server issue is: Settings-Network-vpn-on. Phone will reboot and all will be well.
