Why do some of you people get so happy and excited when other products or companies fail??

I mean, how does it benefit you in any way?

Is that a response to me? I did say I see a market for it and I've said repeatedly that I think it will do well. Others have also said this. So... where is this Schadenfreude?

And let's say you are going on a long road trip or 10 hour flight to Hong Kong. That iCloud isn't gonna be helpful and 8gb (which by the way is really 6gb of actual data storage space), gets used up really quick! So you can install 2 or 3 games, 1 or 2 apps and maybe 3 movies. Maybe. Now let's compare that with my 64gb ipad2 that won't need to be recharged halfway through a 11 hour flight, shall we?
64gb iPad eh? So you're arguing a $699 iPad's advantages over a $199 Kindle Fire? Now I remember why I had you on Ignore. How about upgrading this battle with what a $299 16gb Flyer with microSD expansion can do on that 11 hour flight? I'm still $400 ahead (32gb MicroSD card bought with the tax savings) and have plenty of media to last the trip. Your argument fell down to "a tablet is only a tablet if it has more than 8gb of storage on board". Are you sure you want to keep playing?

as the price plummets, it is looking more competitive. if you want a seven inch device, then why not get the flyer? itis a lot cheaper than the ipad. itseems like a great deal. for a lot of people, though, i imagine the longer battery + larger screen + ios + faster speed is worth another 200 for thebase ipad model.

I love how you can't ever stay on topic when I point out errors in your logic. Since I basically tore you a new one on the Fire, you decide to now start arguing about how great the Thrive is? Don't bother responding, I now have you on ignore.
