About Finder: ‘DS Version 1.14.4’ (macOS Catalina 10.15.4)

Since 10.15.4 in the About Finder window a new line ‘DS Version 1.14.4’ appeared.

Does somebody knows what this means?

Probably stands for the "Desktop Services" library. The same abbreviation has been used for a long time for ".DS_Store" files that store folders' view options.

I thought something like that as well. Interesting this is explicitly named now…
