@blairh This is the Peel case, 11PM after a year. The bottom is covered, but the holes are very precise.

I was looking at dbrands. It is too bad they don't offer the wrap in clear. The one I am considering is SlickWraps naked wrap in clear gloss.

Apologise for noob question. What exactly are slickwraps and does it provide protection?

I have peel cases for most my iPhones

This is great, thanks. A worthy successor to the former Spigen Air Skin which I really liked and it seems like they stopped making for new iPhones.

I’ve been using Totallee cases for my past X and 11 Pro’s and just received the Frosted Clear case for my 12 Pro today. Very happy with the case. If you’re wanting a case for drop protection, these thins cases are not for you. I mostly want just scratch protection from daily use.

For those wanting to know the “thinness”, the case sits flush with the side buttons. So when I run my fingers down the sides, I almost don’t feel the buttons at all. It’s actually improves the feel of the phone when gripped, not feeling the buttons stick out.

Something to note is that the frosted/matte texture of the case makes it a bit more slippery with dry hands.

Does the Peel case has a lip on the front? The Totallee case sticks out a bit from the screen. I like it to be flushed.

Let me clarify. Totallee sells a clear case but I believe it uses TPU and is thicker than its other frost cases. It does not sell an ultra thin in clear like the Peel case.

Got it. I think Peel sells a similar one. They have a hard and a soft thin case. Likely TPU for the soft one.

They do indeed but I've never bought it. I want my cases as thin as possible. I've used the Totallee frosted on other phones and they are great for the price. But I love the Peel hard clear. Because it's clear and also because of how grippy they are.

Anyone have experience with Pitaka cases? They look thin & are verified MagSafe compliant. They look very thin, so I’m not sure how protective they’d be. My other consideration was a Raptic shield which looks more protective but also bulkier. I just ordered a 12 Pro Max & would prefer to keep it slimmer but want some protection also. I found both of these on a CNET article recommissioning IPhone 12 cases. Anyone know about either?

Tried Totallee the past two times and they sucked to be honest. $1 case in a $5 package sold for $30.
Totally agree, I tried it for my iPhone 11 and for what you pay for this was a big joke, there are many slim cases out there for 1/5-1/3 of their price. It wasn't razor thin, it wasn't featherlight, even heavy for such a case, but you paid for both of it and their description to me is almost a scam. Total disappointment for this price, and the same like any 5-10% ultra slim eBay Case but 5 times the price . I even was very angry because I felt scammed because of what I got and was described.

I was searching for the exact same case as you, with cutouts etc. and found it. I will quote myself here from another thread regarding the Moshi Superskin case, unfortunately not yet available for iPhone 12 series....

I own the Moshi Superskin case for my iPhone 11. It is super thin and super light (6-7g), almost no lip, just maybe a mm. I hate cases and also like you want a razor thin case with no lip, as I only need it to protect the back glass from scratches from time to time. Most of the time I use my phone caseless.

If you want a lightweight thin case you have to buy that. People were shocked when they found out I had a case on my iPhone, they said it looked "naked". But first of all, quality is only ok and bad for what you pay for, it is a transparent half hard, half tpu case. Feels like a flexible hard case. But it is like milky transparent, not 100% transparent. When you first hold it in your hands, you think it feels cheap and breaks easily. BUT after all I have it for a year now and it is still like on day one. No yellowish tint, no breaking. But you have to be careful when you put it on or off. Still easy to take off and didn't widen much as it is somehow a little like a hardcase but flexible. As said it does look a little cheap when looking at it closely but it has done the one year job perfectly. Fits good and is really razor thin and lightweight. Still, don't expect a high quality looking case.

Here is a review of the case, you can see it is razor thin ...

So maybe do it like I do, buy a 10€ Spigen case for the time being and wait for that???
