I also looked at Totallee cases but went with Peel cause it was a little cheaper.

I don't like those cases that are frosty.

Agreed. As previously posted, Peel is probably the best ultra thin case on the market. Both for truly clear as well as other colors. Not cheap in price, but the quality is there and their customer service is top notch. I am loving my Clear 'hard' case.

I like the pitaka cause its as thin as plastic but pound for pound the strongest material. I dropped my 11 pro numerous times with no damage and this new one has a bit of a lip which is nice.

Peel is currently my favorit, because they look very thin and don‘t have any branding.

But will see how much i like the iPhone leather case, before i buy another one..

Anyone have experience with Pitaka cases? They look thin & are verified MagSafe compliant. They look very thin, so I’m not sure how protective they’d be. My other consideration was a Raptic shield which looks more protective but also bulkier. I just ordered a 12 Pro Max & would prefer to keep it slimmer but want some protection also. I found both of these on a CNET article recommissioning IPhone 12 cases. Anyone know about either?
I have several Pitaka cases right here. The Pitaka Air is currently their thinnest case. On the plus side, they're one of the few companies that got the cutouts right. Rather than small holes for the buttons, they have wide areas so the buttons are easy to access. They also have a wide cutout area at the bottom for the charge port and speaker holes, which I really like. However, Pitaka cases are NOT what I would call thin. They advertise as 0.65mm, far thicker than most of the thin cases that I like. I can't use my phone with one hand with a Pitaka case, like I can with other thin cases.

Fair enough. But given the feel / grip compared to thinner cases, would you say the Air Series is a decent trade off?

and what would you recommend over it?

I have a Peel case for my 12 and I had Peel cases for my earlier phones. I wouldn’t use any other - they are great.

I've purchased 6 cases so far for my iPhone 12 Pro, and I haven't found the perfect one yet. It's pretty frusterating... I had some absolute perfect cases for the iPhone X that I moved from, but the really good cases haven't hit the market for some reason. An an unrelated note (or perhaps it is related?), the size of the camera bump is slightly different between the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, according to https://www.ipitaka.com/products/air-case-for-iphone-12

Do you mind a bit more of a breakdown on what you used thus far?

It seems .035 is the average thinness of these cases (ie Peel) but don't fair well with grip.

I’ve had one of these in the last for my 11 PM and it’s pretty great, especially since it covers the camera glass. Obviously not much protection from drops but looks and feel great.

Is the branding on the back of the case really what is shown in the photos? It’s like a whole sentence!

Any issues with drops? Do they hold up well? Mine are usually from 3-4 ft or less. I’m pretty careful, but things do happen!
Dropped the phone (7+ & 8+) a couple of times at about 3 ft. Cases were Nep Hybrid, & Liquid crystal. No problems for me. With that said, keep in mind all falls are different and phone could land on different angles. Hope this helps.

It is but I don’t think it’s very noticeable. At least it want on the black one, I haven’t yet received the blue one.

I was looking at this clear Torras case so I could still show off the blue color.
