Absolutely NO T-Mobile Unlocked iPhone 6 Plus at my local Apple Store.

Truefan31 - Do you know if Verizon allows LTE if using an ATT or TMO sim in the Verizon iphone 6?

I'm trying to understand ur question. You'll get full att/tmobile service, lte and all on a Verizon 5c/5s/6/6 plus.

My brother just put a metropcs sim in his 6. No problem.

Our Apple store had no t-mobile phones either but we were told by Apple Store manager that AT&T phones worked the same. They were right. AT&T phones, bought without contract, were unlocked. We didn't need to call AT&T.

Yup. This has been the case for many years already. Full price phones from the Apple store are typically not locked for AT&T and T-Mobile. Verizon phones are unlocked for you GSM users regardless of whether you pay full price or subsidized. So OP could actually pick from any of the three biggest carriers in the country and gotten an unlocked phone.

I was 16 in line and felt my chances were pretty good on getting a 6+ unlocked but the store didn't receive not 1 unlocked device. Left the store empty handed. Blah.

I hate to tell you this, and maybe someone already pointed this out, but every full price phone sold at the Apple store is unlocked. They will tell you they aren't to try and protect the carriers, but it's a lie. You could have bought a Verizon (which are always unlocked) or even an AT&T version. I was lined up at 3PM on thursday and was planning on buying 2 T-Mobile units but bought 2 Verizon units instead when they had no T-Mobile. I popped my T-Mobile SIM in and, Bob's your uncle, it works perfectly.
