I updated the software, and I don't see any scroll lag.
Can't ... Tell ... If ... Kidding
I sure hope he is. Every time I read a post from someone that says they don't see any lag I wonder...not anymore though...
I am not kidding, tell me what to do to test it out.
Someone explain to him about lag...
u can't see the choppiness?
compare it with any other mac and ill see what everyones talking about lol
I just threw up a bit in my mouth.
OP: do nothing, stop running tests, don't read this thread anymore. Once you realize what is happening you will be disgusted.
Ignorance is bliss...
It's the Kool-Aid. Once you stop drinking it, many issues become clear...
You're doing it wrong. Let me look....
And then there was light
Your video proves the exact opposite of what you claim. The lag is very apparent and noticeable.
Perception is a wonderful thing and this is why there are umpteen number of threads and growing each disputing each others claims about lag/stuttering.
If he's happy then leave him be to enjoy his rMBP.
Oh god, does it really look that bad? I don't want a $2500 computer that scrolls THAT terribly
Literally none of you can spot sarcasm or humour.
It's difficult to tell on forums and if he's happy with the scrolling then that's cool if he's sarcastic I also missed that.
it's humour people.
rolmao!!!!!!! best comment all week!!!!
No, but seriously. Has Apple released any statements about this or acknowledged the problem?
I'm pretty sure the lag which can be seen in this video is just the bad quicktime screen recording the OP used...
Based on your post clearly there is no problem!
Thanks for the post, I found joy in your ignorance and kool-aid intoxication.
Is it really so difficult to spot sarcasm?
Yikes, I'm half tempted to cancel my order... Is windows any better in this regard?
The issue will finally become clear for the fanboys with the next release of the rMBP. They will run out and buy the 2013 model and justify it by saying the original had a terrible lag problem.
I am sorry we can actually afford things, or chose to spend on it. Get a life and stop calling everyone an Apple Fanboy. Jeez.
I moved up from a 2011 13" i7 MBP to the 15" 2.3 rMBP last week.
This rMBP is incredible. I don't see any lag at all, plus it's faster, much quieter and much cooler than the 13". Battery doesn't seem to last as long, but it's a much better machine.
Apple tend to stonewall on these kinds of issues. However, it is very possible that choppy scrolling will be addressed in an software update one day.
