ACASIS USB4 M.2 Enclosure users, are you able to boot from this enclosure as well as enable FileVault? I plan on getting a WD Black SN750 for it.

I have read that some external drives work fine with M1 Macs but cannot boot Big Sur from them. Likewise, I have seen some able to boot externally but then FileVault does not work. Can anyone who uses this drive/enclosure confirm that both external boot and FileVault encryption works with the ACASIS USB4 Nvme enclosure as well as with the WD Black SN750 SSD inside of it?

Thanks for the response. I got an OWC thunderbolt 3 enclosure to boot Big Sur after enabling FileVault. This was under the 11.3 public beta though, so I’m not sure if anything worked prior to 11.3.
