That is really unfortunate, he was really funny in everything I saw him in.

Kind of sad when a death cannot be reported correctly.
Looks like they were not the only one.
This thread, although true to the rumors mandate of the board, is not a good one.
IMO it should be closed, and the other thread split, so that the thread can be limited to tributes, not the events leading up to his death.

Why? The first post wasn't posted as a rumour of someone's death. It was posted as news. It's not rdowns' fault that other sources didn't have their facts straight.
This is just awful. 
I read an article a few weeks back about his movie coming out this Fall called Soul Men. It stars Mac and his long-time friend Samuel L. Jackson. They both had said how excited they were to finally be in a movie together. Now he won't be around to see it premiere.
Just too bad, I really enjoyed him.

I've always enjoyed his movies. Bernie Mac was a really great comedian. The world is "one-less funnier" now.

He was a very funny, talented guy, a real natural. It's sad that he went so, so young. But his career isn't necessarily over-- think "Weekend at Bernie Mac's." <tha-thump>
