Ad that obscures mobile website homepage

Every once and awhile, when visiting the mobile site on my iPhone with Safari, I am greeted with this rather annoying ad which obscures the whole page.

These full screen ads are terrible. And, as evidenced by the screen shot, the close button is cutoff making it extremely hard to close.

Find a different agency that does not have annoying ads.

This has been happening for about a week now and is not the quality of experience I'm used to having read MacRumors since 2005. Happens about once a day or so.

I too am getting frustrated with these ads. I've been a MacRumors reader for over a decade, and have come to expect a high quality experience on this site. These full-screen ads on the mobile site are making me less inclined to visit the site.

We made our latest effort at having them removed yesterday...I haven't seen any since, but we'll follow up again if they're still appearing.

Many ads are targeted to the user, not the site they're displayed on.
