I'm just worried about AT&T contacting me about using my iPad 3G sim and account in an iPhone 4. I don't want them trying to charge my Card 1000 dollars or something lame like that.

I have two iPads. One on 3G and the other wifi only, but I am using its 3G SIM in my iPhone 4. I've been doing that since the iPhone 4 came out. Don't worry about AT&T catching you. They are not monitoring iPad data if you have unlimited plan.

Lots of "fake" Microsim adapters around, beware!

My friend Myra has bought her MicroSim adapter from some shop for around 2 dollars. However, what she got was a cheap Chinese replicate which was basically a plastic SIM card with a hole for the Micro Sim. What happened? Once she put the Sim with the adapter into her iPhone 3G, it bent and damaged the insertion slot.

What you think guys is this really worth it? I decided I'd rather spend a little more money and get the orginial German patented MicroSIM ADAPTER.

As far as I know only www.microsimdiscount.com and www.microsim-shop.com are selling them. Anybody has experience with either?

microsimdiscount.com is based in the Uk, a little cheaper and delivers via airmail wordwide vs. microsimshop delivering from Austria. Any opinions?

these things are dangerous. I bought one from meritline and its this cheap plastic thing and I used it to activate my old 3gs with my iphone 4's microsim. I almost couldnt get it back out of my 3gs cause it popped out of the adapter in the 3gs. luckily a little yanking got it out and everything still works. so be careful!
