I work in healthcare and for that, dictation is garbage. Neither it, nor autocorrect, can even somewhat deal with medication names and clinical terms.

That said, this does look like a PIA; plus my work phone is an SE 2022, and soon to be the 16e, so no chance of this supporting it.
Seriously? There’s several medical dictionaries for the iPhone that are HIPPA compliant & you can dictate anything you like into them with excellent transcription. Whatever your doing in healthcare it must very low level.

No, we just can't use them on our phones...they are super locked down. I'm in management in clinical pharmacy, so most of my time is in the pharmacy or in front of a computer.

Just use voice to text.
It works for some use cases, but I'd prefer a keyboard like this if one were available. I wouldn't use it full time. I'm a big fan of Siri and use it a lot for personal use. I also use it for quick work replies when necessary. But for those few times per year where I need to do a lot of work communications from my phone, I'm not going to mess with that. There are company and industry names & acronyms that never come out right. I've tried it on occasion, but after you dictate your comments, then you need to review them to make sure there are no grammatical mistakes or misunderstood words and it takes long enough that I'd just prefer to use a keyboard if one were available.

That's what I can't understand. If you have a lot to type on your iPhone, just dictate it. I do that frequently and it works just fine, no keyboard required.
Siri works great, and I'm a big fan of it. I use it all the time, but sometimes for extensive work communications it's more of a hassle to use than a keyboard. Especially when you have company or industry specific words that don't come out correctly in Siri.

Exactly my use case as well

Please I can only handle so much sarcasm. That being said on screen keyboard with Apple Intelligence to fix errors is a solid combo.

Dictation works extremely well, unless words are not being pronounced or understood clearly. Have you trained Siri on your particular speaking nuances? One shoes doesn't fit all. Your device needs to learn you.

Comments that just say “it’s bad” without any reason can - and should - be ignored. A bot could do better.

Having said that, critical but unreasoned comments can still serve a purpose. Maybe the poster wants to get it on record that they don’t want to be gifted that monstrosity? You know, just to be safe.;)
Difficult to ignore or not read as they are, (at least right now), the most top rated comments.

I wouldn't mind going back to a physical keyboard such as this. The stock keyboard on my 13PM blows goat genitalia.
Still a bit too expensive though. If the price comes down further, I may bite.

Wonder how many will actually use these keyboards. For me it is an outright no. Definitely this is a cheaper variant but I cannot see myself using one.
