I do not want to pay a dollar for my music.
So I take it off CDs.

Anyways, the music does not have any cover art. Can I add it, or should I just wait for a boatload of $$$ to come in so I can get some iTunes music?

Firs search the cover arr with google pictures. Then copy the picture with right click. Open itunes mark all the song that are in the cd click right click-> information-> edit information for many songs-> confirm -> select the tab that says something loke cover on it -> click on the blank space and press command V. That add the cover to the songs.

Or right-click the songs and select Get Album Artwork. It'll search for the album in the iTMS and pull down the art for you. It doesn't have a 100% success rate but it should get the bulk of it done. You can then use the Google method to fill in the gaps.

I havn't found anthing besides an bod dylan album artwork and even that wasn't the same that i had on the cd. So i thought i'd save some extra work by just telling the "hard" way.

You can easily after import, select the album and right click and select get album artwork.

if it does not transfer when syncing to your iPod simply right click on the albums artwork in the left corner in iTunes and select Copy and open Preview and press Command N and save the artwork in your album folder and drag it into the album in itunes.

that way you get the same quality artwork from itunes instead of low res or incorrect artwork from google images.

Just a heads up on this, make sure that the song and album names are exactly as they appear on the iTunes store. I had a few problems, but if you modify the names then re-click 'get album artwork' should all load in nicely.
