Good grief people...when you see one person respond...there's no reason to rip the comment to shreds.
I was simply stating my opinion, in the fact of not trying to get my hopes up.
If the SIM holder tray is on the side, what's the tiny hole next to the earphone socket?
in all reality guys, it doesnt matter what it looks like, how many of you are seriously NOT going to have a case on it, ultimately you wont see the design
Noise cancelling mic

No case here. I'm not buying another case again. A waste of money. I've bought case after case for my 3G trying to find "just the right one" only to discover that none of them are "right" because the Iphone feels perfect as-is. Haven't had a case on it in 6 months and there aren't any more scratched on there than were already on there (some gained via a case that rubbed on the back, o the irony!) I'm confident the new one is going to be even less scratch prone. I'm just not going to worry about it. It's a phone that I use, I want to enjoy it how it was designed, not cover it with ugly plastic.in all reality guys, it doesnt matter what it looks like, how many of you are seriously NOT going to have a case on it, ultimately you wont see the design

How does that work do you think? Will it help to block out sounds when your listening to music or just for calls?
The noise-cancelling mic "listens" to the ambient noise while you're on the phone. The iPhone then electronically subtracts much of that noise from your outgoing call, so your voice sounds clearer.
Of course, Apple could also easily add features like automatic earpiece, external speaker, and ringer volume control depending on ambient noise level. SMOP. (Small matter of programming.)
Thank you for the lesson on how to respond in a forum.I will refrain from offering you similarly unsolicited lessons on how to do a minute's research before posting your baseless speculation.
If Speck comes out with a See-Thru for this design, you should be pretty well able to see every design change made. I just put one on my 3GS after not having used one for probably 4-5 months (because they're a MOTHER to get off...I'm probably going to regret the decision to put on one before day's end) and was shocked to see again how, well, see-through it actually is. It's completely transparent (other than the bits around the bezel, which are like a frosted silicone-ish material). Just FWIW.![]()
Never heard of it, do you have a link?
Those 'new' pics are merely ones of either that fake Vietnamese version (no internals visible through the connector) or the very early development model. Plus, it looks to be thicker than the model Gizmodo had.
My money says this is a 'replica' made in Vietnam. 99% of all replica products (high-end) or not come from SE Asia. If it were real you would have seen the dock connector internals. This guy is probably making a fortune off of selling these photos to various tech blogs.
why oh why oh why....and one more for luck..oh why...didn't they increase the size of the screen....![]()
