Adium for MSN is down?

edit: and Messenger (official) won't connect me. WebMessenger does work, though...

I can't connect via Adium. I din't try 1.3.1 but i downloaded the official msn which i hate....

Same here of course....

Not only Apple messes our tc and tm and now we have problems(and they don't seem to release a 5.7 soon), Microsoft is also trying to brake our nerves...

I hate companies....

I think i'm moving to Linux......

From the limited information I have, it appears that Microsoft's server didn't conform to its own protocol. The server is now fixed, but libpurple depended on the bug.

If anyone has more info or corrections, post here

Me, too.

Reverted back (up again) to 1.3.2 and now MSN could retrieve the buddy list without problems.

Seems like Microsoft has fixed whatever it was they broke...

I have also started having session issues with the facebook protocol over the last few weeks. Adium's implementation causes session issues when trying to view Facebook in a browser. How many others have bumped into this?

Adium 1.3.3b1 working again here. From Adium´s blog:

"MSN is now working for us in 1.3.2. Looks like the Libpurple team was right—it was a server-side problem, which Microsoft has now cleared up."

yes, that is lame. Who wants to downgrade? What features will I lose?

Oh, I'm sorry. I saw the third party apps and didn't notice it was under the iphone section.

Oh so that was the problem. I couldn't understand why adium wouldn't work, but when i connected in other applications it did.
